2024 Disclaimer of liability

Boomerang Stables Ltd, nor any person acting on their behalf accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever.

All vehicles are left entirely at your own risk.

Conditions of use policy

When using online booking system, the disclaimer must be accepted before check out so no need to sign in on site. If paying on the day you will have to come to the payment room to sign the disclaimer and pay before hiring any of the facilities,

All riders must wear a current standard riding hat conforming to the BHS, British Eventing, British Show jumping or Pony Club Standard whilst mounted. No fixed peak riding hats to be worn on the cross country. It is also strongly advisable to wear a hat whilst handling horses.

A body protector conforming to the current BE rules must be worn at all times whist using the cross country.

Suitable footwear should be worn at all times.

All riders must be accompanied by another responsible person (who may be mounted or on foot), who must have access to a mobile phone in order to summons assistance in the event of emergency and a knowledge of first aid is advisable.

Any rider 12 and under must be under the instruction of a qualified instructor or be with an organisation i.e. pony club. Parental supervision is not acceptable unless suitably qualified.

All riders between 13 and 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult and kept under control at all times.

Any jump marked with crossed flags must not be jumped under any circumstances. Some jumps are one way only, and must be jumped with red on the right and white on the left.

All jumps are optional. Care should be taken to not exceed your own or your horses experience or capabilities.

Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.

Please take all litter home and please pick up hay/droppings left in the lorry park.

Riders are required to remove all droppings left by their horse in the arenas and return jumps to their original position and heights.

Any fences that you damage or you see that is damaged please report to a member of Boomerang staff immediately.

Consideration must be given at all times to other horses and riders using the facilities and always use common sense.

Instructors, teachers, trainers, coaches or any person responsible for a rider must hold public liability insurance for no less than £2,000,000 (two million pounds).

Any person bringing a groom, rider or paid assistance onto the premises must hold appropriate employers liability insurance.

Boomerang Stables require that the owner/keeper/rider of any horse using the Facilities insure that horse in respect of third party liability and recommend injury, veterinary fees and death cover. It is also recommended that all riders hold personal accident insurance.

We are not responsible for the provision of a First Aid person or first aid equipment. The Rider (or any group organiser, trainer or responsible adult) agrees to ensure their own provision for First Aid.

We reserve the right to ask you to leave should we see reckless riding or teaching or abuse of horses, no refund will be given.

Boomerang has heavy machinery operating over it. Riders are advised to wear high vis clothing so as to be easily identifiable to the operator of the machinery and to take measures to avoid such machinery.

Boomerang Stables Ltd complies with current legal smoking policies and in addition no smoking is permitted in the Shack, indoor school, toilet block and stable yard areas.

We reserve the right to cancel any reservation without notice. We reserve the right to refuse any admission. We cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss or liability howsoever caused.

By riding at the Premises the rider accepts that they/their trainer or responsible adult has surveyed the Facilities (and any obstacles such as show jumps or cross-country jumps) and the ground conditions and understand that they/their trainer are responsible for assessing the suitability of the ground conditions and/or suitability, construction and maintenance of the jumps/obstacles/fences.

It is the riders responsibility to ensure the gates to the cross country and lorry park are closed at all times during use.

Riding is a risk sport. All those who wish to school their horses/ponies do so entirely at their own risk.

Changing day/time up to 2 hours before booking

If you require to change your day/time, you may do this by contacting Lucy via email  or text 07771900537 up to 2 hours before your original booked slot. This is free of charge.

Your booking is non-transferable and non-refundable

Refunds

If you need to cancel, we can issue you a refund minus a £5 admin fee. Please email  or text 07771900537. If we should cancel i.e., due to weather, we will refund you 100% of the fee or offer you a coupon code to enable you to rebook again at another time. (Coupons are only valid for the current year only)
